This father is immortalized on a circle that you handle every day and a local square that bears his name. Near one corner you’ll see a stony marker commemorating a 19th century woman who had stock on this spot. On a corner across the street, there’s a depiction of a hot spot where uprisings occur.

King Ludwig had one; so did William Randolph Hearst. These are some others.
If you know what they are, you’ll know which street to search on:
Edinburgh
Dover
Windsor
Corfe
Arundel

Washington (George Washington’s profile appears on the quarter dollar coin) Square Park. There is a large stone bench at the north-east corner of the park with a plaque memorializing Juana Briones y Tapia De Miranda, who raised cattle (stock) and grew vegetables on this site in the 1830s and 1840s. Liguria Bakery is located across the street; a mural on its exterior wall depicts their oven (“a hot spot where uprisings occur”).

King Ludwig and William Randolph Hearst both built castles, and five famous
castles are listed here, leading to Castle Street, a block-long
alley on Telegraph Hill that offers a dramatic view of Coit Tower.
